The UKPFC (the football team of current members of UK parliament) took on the staff, volunteers of Football for Unity and its supporting organisations, the Al-Khoei Foundataion and the Arab-British Chamber of Commerce to promote the Football for Unity initiative, on a field specially set-up for this game by Regents Park. The game was a contest between the experience of UKPFC and youthful enthusiasm of Football for Unity FC, with the more experienced team winning.
This was the second game in which UKPFC helped promote to football for peace idea. Clive Betts MP, captain of UKPFC was happy to be on the winning side after playing against the national team of Iraq, during their Goodwill UK Tour of 2004, organised by Yamam Nabeel. This game was covered by Middle East media.
