The Peace Tournament London

A fundraising football cup to support our future work in Iraq and Lebanon

This tournament saw 12 teams compete to become the inaugural champions of the Peace Tournament London. Teams were representing companies, organisations and individuals. The tournament was held in the state-of-the-art modern football facilities of Goals Soccer Centre in Wimbledon. The tournament took part over a sunny afternoon and all participants competed in the spirit of the event. During the lunch break, Al Dar Restaurant provided the teams with middle-eastern food.
There were some spectacular games and some fantastic goals and supporters made themselves heard too. The final was contested by the Ahlulbayt FC and United Nations FC with the latter coming out as champions. Winners and runners up received medals and trophies and the tournament was covered by Middle East media.

Further fundraising tournaments are planned internationally.
